When people support one another, there’s no limit to what we can do.  We at the Lois Curtis Center are proud to be a part of the community, serving our friends and neighbors. Our doors are always open, and we’re always happy to talk about our programs and services.

Statewide Independent Living Council of Kansas

The Statewide Independent Living Council of Kansas (SILCK) is a not-for-profit corporation, governed by a Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors is appointed by the Governor’s office, with nominations from the SILCK considered.

and Brown people.  The project can be found at www.outofthemargins.online.

It's a fact: Black and Brown children with disabilities are systemically predisposed to engaging with the preschool to prison pipeline.  Lois Curtis Elementary School envisions a different reality, one that affirms that all children deserve a learning environment customized to their needs.

Adonis Brown Food Pantry

The Adonis Brown Food Pantry is committed to sharing perishable and non-perishable food with the people of our community, no questions asked and is slated to open in the fall of 2023.

The only FREE commercial kitchen available to small businesses in Topeka.  Will open summer, 2024.
